The operation of a Vertical Blind is by pulling a pull cord, similar to the Roller Blind's ball chain pulley system. While pulling the pull cord in a upwards clockwise motion, the vertical blind fabric will move towards 1 side or opens from the center, depending on the control opening and control side. When pulling the pull cord in an anti clockwise motion, the vertical blind fabric will retract to the control side of the blind.
Users are also able to pull the tilting gear pull cord, this will enable the vertical blind fabric to open and allow sunlight in when pulling in an anti clockwise motion. To tilt the vertical fabric to a fully closed position, simply pull the tilting gear pull cord in a clockwise motion.
